Dual WAN.
Always Connected.
The GW220 ships with two independent WAN ports — connect to two different ISPs and the gateway handles failover automatically. If your primary link drops, WAN2 takes over within seconds, keeping internet access uninterrupted for every user and system on the network. A dedicated HA port connects to a second GW220 appliance for full device-level high availability: if the primary unit fails entirely, the standby takes over without dropping live connections. For enterprise, hospitality, or branch office deployments where downtime is not an option.
Device-Level Redundancy
Pair two GW220s over the HA port and the standby assumes the active role without dropping sessions — the same discipline applied across the managed network.
4× 10G SFP+
Fiber Connectivity.
Beyond the two copper GbE LAN and WAN ports, the GW220 adds four 10G SFP+ slots — giving you high-speed fiber connectivity for backbone links, direct connections to core switches, or dedicated service interfaces. Use single-mode or multi-mode optics, DAC cables, or 1G SFP transceivers depending on your distance and budget requirements. The combination of copper management ports and 10G fiber data paths makes the GW220 adaptable to virtually any enterprise or data centre edge topology.
Copper for Control, Fiber for Data
Management stays on isolated copper while the data path runs over 10G fiber — the topology most enterprise and data-centre edges actually need.
Intel 8-Core
Inside.
Unlike purpose-built firewall appliances with fixed ASIC chips, the GW220 houses a real Intel processor — 8 cores, 8 threads — backed by up to 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory and a high-speed NVMe SSD. This means the GW220 isn't just a gateway: it runs enterprise firewall software, acts as an application server, handles network storage, or runs VPN concentration workloads — all simultaneously. The same hardware platform that enterprise software vendors certify their security stacks on, delivered in a managed 1U rack appliance by EZELINK.
Firewall · UTM · VPN · Routing · Storage
One appliance runs the security stack, the routing and the application workloads at the same time — instead of three boxes doing one job each.
Out-of-Band
Management.
The GW220 is built for network engineers who need full control. A dedicated out-of-band MGMT port keeps management traffic completely isolated from data traffic — so you can reach and reconfigure the appliance even if all user-facing links are down. A serial console port provides low-level BIOS access for emergency recovery. Two front-panel USB 3.2 ports support live boot media or local configuration import. A VGA output lets you connect a monitor directly for physical access. Managed by EZELINK from our GCC NOC with 24/7 monitoring across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
Reachable When Everything Else Is Down
Out-of-band management means the EZELINK NOC can still reach the appliance when every user-facing link has failed.
