Intelligence
Most small switches stop at Layer 2 — they separate VLANs but can't route between them. The ASW210 does both at wire speed. Static routing, RIP, and OSPF mean inter-VLAN traffic — guest WiFi to staff WiFi to security cameras — is routed locally inside the switch, without sending every packet to an overloaded firewall upstream.

Uplinks
16 devices generating Gigabit traffic need a fast path to the core. Four 10G SFP+ uplinks give the ASW210 40 Gbps of total uplink capacity — enough to aggregate all 16 access ports without any bottleneck. Connect via fiber for long runs to the distribution switch, or use DAC cables for low-cost, short rack connections.

A full L2/L3 feature set — 802.1Q VLANs, QoS prioritisation, port-based ACLs, storm control, IGMP snooping, and LLDP discovery. Manage through web GUI, CLI, or SNMP.
